✔️ B.Voc Radiology & Medical Imaging Technology is a 03 year undergraduate program and its syllabus is divided into 6-semesters under which, we train students to work as Radiology technologist.
✔️ There are many diseases, about which X-rays, CT scans, ultrasound, MRI etc. are used to find out. All such work is done by medical imaging technologists.
✔️ One can make a bright future in this field by pursuing the related courses. The demand for medical imaging specialists has increased steadily in the last few years due to the rapid development in the field of science and health.
✔️ Today, the work of a radiologist is not only limited to X-rays, but they also have to do MRI with CT scan. In addition, they also have to undergo radiotherapy and chemotherapy of cancer and tumor patients.
✔️It enables the students to reach their goal of pursuing a career in the field of radiology and imaging technology by understanding within the radiology setting.
✔️You will gain knowledge on the underlying scaffolds of imaging and principles of radiology and the effects of this area in the medical sector.
✔️It gives the opportunity to deliver your skills and design the required Equipment. Also you will come across the undergoing changes and demands to modernise the technology.
✔️Candidates must pass 10+2 with any Stream (Arts/Commerce/Science) and must have obtained 50% marks in qualifying examination whereas SC/ST category students need to have 45% marks
✔️Minimum 17 years of age and the upper age limit is 40.
✔️ Good communication and English language skills
✔️Good physical strength and fitness
The aim of the course is to provide comprehensive, individually focused training that prepares the students for providing a quality care to the sick patients by performing credible and reliable Radiology Imaging so that at the end of the course he/she will be able to perform the following:
✔️PEO 1: To make our students competent in the field of Radiology Imaging and its allied areas.
✔️PEO 2: To inculcate the capability to work as entrepreneurs and techno-managers with strong ethics and communication skills.
✔️PEO 3: To equip the students to pursue higher education and research in reputed institutes at national and international level.
✔️PEO 4: To develop a working knowledge of Radiology Imaging techniques.

✔️PO1: Community Health –To identify the role of Imaging Technologist in the context of the community health needs in particular and the national health sector in general.
✔️PO2: Moral, Ethical and legal issues- Be able to perform a safe, systematic and appropriate body assessment for various conditions while adhering to legal, ethical and professional standards of practice in a multitude of Radiological settings for patients and clients.
✔️PO3:Critical thinking – Be able to analyze and interpret physical assessment and diagnosis and set appropriate short and long term goals and to choose, demonstrate intervention safely and document the progression appropriately.
✔️PO4: Analytical skills – To utilize analytical skills, critical inquiry and evidence based practice to make clinical decisions essential for autonomous professional practice.
✔️PO5: Collaboration – To work as independent Imaging Technologist or in conjunction/ collaboration with a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team to diagnose and treat body disorders .
✔️PO6: Team work – To communicate effectively across wide range of professional and personal contexts compatible with psychological, Social, Economic and Cultural aspects of diseases and the beneficiary.
✔️PO7: Research related skills: To carry out research and publications towards upliftment of the field of Radiology and Imaging and actively engage in lifelong learning activities.
