✔️ The three-year graduate program provide students with the opportunity to study the principles of Dialysis, basic medical science of the kidney, fluid and electrolyte balance, hematologic aspects, infectious diseases, dialysis systems and equipment, vascular access to circulation, blood chemistry, complications of renal failure, psycho-social aspects and an overview of peritoneal dialysis and renal transplantation.
✔️The course will help Technologist enhance their knowledge and skills of caring for patients with acute and chronic dialysis conditions affecting adult populations.
✔️The course will enable the Technologist to build capabilities and competencies required for specific treatment plans on dialysis care including personalized care planning, health-education and follow-up.
✔️The primary goal of B.Voc in Dialysis Technology Programme is to prepare accomplished professionals in Dialysis Technology with a specific emphasis on clinical skills, technical knowledge which will enable trainee to function as an independent dialysis professional. ✔️Trainees acquire the knowledge and procedural skills necessary to deliver high standard of care to the patients with chronic kidney disease requiring renal replacement therapy.
✔️ Its aims are to provide practitioners working in the dialysis field with the specialist skills and knowledge to manage the care of patients with dialysis problems.
✔️The course will build on previous skills and knowledge and enable practitioners to explore specialist issues in-depth. The central focus will be on clinical decision-making in dialysis practice.
✔️The course is designed for technologist working within the dialysis setting and will focus on the assessment, care and management of patients with underlying dialysis disease.
✔️The course empowers nurses to acquire in-depth knowledge and understanding of the dialysis illnesses, prevention, care and promotion of health.
✔️Successful candidates can work in any healthcare establishment and provide specialized care with clinical decision-making and critical thinking.
✔️Candidates must pass 10+2 with any Stream (Arts/Commerce/Science) and must have obtained 50% marks in qualifying examination whereas SC/ST category students need to have 45% marks
✔️Minimum 17 years of age and the upper age limit is 40.
✔️ Good communication and English language skills
